Bagolino, Ponte Caffaro the villa the pool and the lake
We discovered Bagolino, this town with a funny name, almost by chance, driven by the desire for a quiet vacation but full of authentic beauty. This enchanting village, nestled in the Brescian mountains, near Lake Idro and the Ponte Caffaro nature reserve, immediately won us over with its breathtaking views, unspoiled nature and the peace that can be felt everywhere. It is the ideal destination for those looking for an oasis away from the hustle and bustle, but with all the amenities close at hand.
We had rented a villa very close to the lake, in the hamlet of Ponte Caffaro for two weeks, without imagining that we would fall in love with it to the point of wanting to buy it. It is a practically new property, ready to be lived in, where upon entering you immediately feel at home. Fenced by a manicured hedge, it offers a private garden that gives a feeling of exclusivity and serenity. The porphyry patio completely embraces the villa, creating a perfect convivial area with barbecue area, relaxation spaces and a beautiful pool where our children spent happy hours.
The interior is simply impeccable. Furnished with modern, minimalist chic taste, all in elegant tones of white and cream, it conveys freshness and sophistication. On the ground floor we are greeted by a large, bright, eat-in kitchen with double access to the patio and the pool: perfect for cooking together and then eating outdoors. The spacious, clear-paved living room is the heart of the house, where we shared games, laughter and moments of true relaxation. The four double bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, offer the ultimate in comfort, also ideal for hosting friends or family members.
The villa also has a separate second floor, a self-contained apartment all with an exposed roof, with a living area, kitchenette, a double bedroom, a bedroom that sleeps three, and a bathroom. This area turned out to be perfect for the grandparents, who were able to enjoy their privacy while remaining close by.
We did not think we would find such a special place, nor such a perfect house. But now that we have experienced it, we don´t want to leave it. This villa, just a few moments from Lake Idro is much more than a vacation home: it is a dream that we want to make a reality.
